OST of the movie Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon (My Happy Marriage)
as the owner of a blog called 'futaridehitori', i find it somewhat funny and ironic that my favorite line from this song is where it says 'hitori ga futari ni kawaru' - one turns into two. it's the complete opposite of how marriage is usually portrayed. when people talk about marriage, it's usually about how two people become one in a single union. but this movie is about two separate people who are used to living alone, and thought that they were probably fated to be alone. but the marriage happened and they no longer had to face the world all alone. now there are two.
despite the title of my blog, i find this concept really fantastic, and better fits my idea of marriage :")
anyway, i hope you enjoy this translation. i've been working on my japanese lessons again, which includes translating the songs i like and revising some old translations. there are so many mistakes it's almost embarrassing lol (but at least i can say that it means my comprehension is improving, right...?)
